The Language Of Learning And Teaching
At Hudson Park, the LOLT is English Home Language, and as with any language, the study of English develops the capacity for critical thinking. It also strengthens comprehension skills and gives students the tools to express themselves clearly and logically.

Extension
Our programme includes plenty of stimulating extension activities to cater for pupils who enjoy language and communication. These include the following:
- Debating
- Participation in public speaking competitions
- Participation in NANOWRIMO, which is the international writers' month. In this project, each entrant writes a book. We then edit and self-publish the best works.
- Participation in all the SACEE (South African Council for English Education) School Competitions
